Trash Amnesty Day

Future Trash Amnesty Day Dates will be Announced Here

The Clayton County Corrections Department consists of the Clayton County Correctional Institute/Prison, the Refuse Control function, the Transportation and Development Grass-Cutting Section and all Code Enforcement operations (residential and commercial).

The consolidation occurred in 2009 in an effort to improve efficiency and eliminate duplicated resources. This gives the Corrections Department better control in overseeing the cleaning of county buildings and the upkeep of grounds and roads using inmate labor and court ordered community service workers.
