Clayton County Digital Equity Named One of Nation’s Digital Inclusion Trailblazers

The National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) named Clayton County as a 2023 Digital Inclusion Trailblazer, recognizing the county’s efforts to close the digital divide. This year, Clayton County joins a record number of Digital Inclusion Trailblazers, with 47 total awardees representing municipal, county, and regional governments paving the way for digitally inclusive communities across the US.

Office of Digital Equity Government to Citizens Georgia GMIS Award

Clayton County’s Department of Information Technology, Office of Digital Equity, led by Takiyah Thomas, Digital Equity Administrator, has received the Government to Citizens (G2C) Award from Georgia Chapter of Government Management Information Sciences (GA-GMIS).

Clayton County Ranks 10th Place in the National Digital Counties Survey

Clayton County earns a Top 10 national recognition in the Center for Digital Government’s 2023 Digital Counties Survey. The County’s Department of Information Technology ranks 10th in the digital survey and follows the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework.

The Clayton County Department of Information Technology provides customer-oriented and convenient access to information and services through the use of technology; anytime – anywhere. The County strives for cost-effective use of technology, with interactive exchange and sharing of data within departments, with constituents, with other governments and business partners.

Open 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Closed on weekends and Clayton County Holidays.
