Mosquito Spraying
Clayton County will start its spraying season on April 1st or when the temperature reaches and stays above at least 70° and will end on September 30th. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent shutdown of the Clayton County Government, we have been delayed from our normal schedule. We are currently servicing the spray truck and working with the Public Health District to evaluate mosquito populations. Once the spray truck has been serviced and approval to spray has been given by the Public Health District, we will resume spraying once requests are received.

The schedule is dependent on the weather as we are not able to spray in heavy rain, in high wind (above 10mph), and in extreme heat (above 90°).
