Effective July 1, 2022, E-filing will be Mandatory for all CIVIL filings.

Effective July 1, 2022 Magistrate Clerk’s off ice will no longer accept request for
Sheriff Service. Sheriff Service on any civil filing will need to be filed directly
through the Sheriff’s Department.


  • Effective March 1, 2022, E-filing will be Mandatory for Attorneys for all Non-Criminal Cases.
  • Effective March 1, 2022, E-filing will be Mandatory for all Abandoned Motor Vehicle and Dispossessory Cases.

On October 10, 2020 the Honorable Harold D. Melton, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, extended the Declaration of Statewide Judicial Emergency until Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:59pm.
