Effective July 1, 2022, E-filing will be Mandatory for all CIVIL filings.

Effective July 1, 2022 Magistrate Clerk’s off ice will no longer accept request for
Sheriff Service. Sheriff Service on any civil filing will need to be filed directly
through the Sheriff’s Department.

On October 10, 2020 the Honorable Harold D. Melton, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, extended the Declaration of Statewide Judicial Emergency until Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:59pm.

If you submit an extra copy of a document in order to have it file-stamped for your records, you must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.  Otherwise, the extra copy will not be returned to you.
