Traffic Control Center
The Clayton County TCC serves as the command center for the operation of more than 135 traffic signals, 44 surveillance cameras, and 3 changeable message signs. The TCC is staffed 10.5 hours each day from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our primary goal is to provide a safe and efficient transportation system in Clayton County. By continuously monitoring the flow of traffic along our major arterials we are able to provide “real-time” information concerning accidents, lane closures, road construction, signal malfunctions, and other incidents.
