Army Private First Class – Rudolph Valentino Wesley


On November 06, 1922, Rudolph Valentino Wesley, Sr. was born to Rosalie Hicks in Plant City, Florida (Tampa).  Mr. Rudolph grew up with his brothers Douglas Wesley and Richard Wesley.  When his mother passed away, he stepped up to take care of his brothers. 

 Mr. Rudolph joined the military on January 20, 1943, so he could take care of his brothers.

 Mr. Rudolph was the last group that went into World War II in January 1943.  He was able to see many countries and met many different people. Mr. Rudolph ministered about Jesus to many soldiers and people during his time serving as Police Patrol in the military.  One day while escorting the soldiers out of the area, Mr. Rudolph was blown up in an ammo dump. After recovering, Mr. Rudolph was honorably discharged as a war hero in September 1945.

 Mr. Rudolph Valentino Wesley, Sr. has 4 (four) adult children, Bunnie Wesley, (who is no longer with us), Shirley Daniels, Rudy Wesley Jr., and Larry Wesley.  Mr. Rudolph has plenty of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.   Mr. Rudolph has touched many people and has become everyone’s favorite grandad over the years.

 On Sunday, November 6, 2022, Mr. Rudolph will celebrate his 100th birthday.  Mr. Rudolph resides in Forest Park, Georgia. spends his extra time at Victory in Christ Ministries, sharing his love for Jesus Christ with everyone.
