Clayton County Government and Administrative Offices to Reopen
Clayton County employees will return to work on Monday, May 11, 2020. While government functions will resume on May 11, public access to government buildings will resume on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.

Clayton County to Temporarily Open Recycling Center
The Clayton County Department of Transportation and Development will open the recycling center to help clean Clayton. The recycling center will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 28, 2020 and April 29, 2020.

Amended Temporary Closure Notice for Clayton County Government/Administrative Offices
Chairman Jeffrey E. Turner has extended the County’s declaration of a state of emergency to May 13, 2020, to follow the State and Judicial systems’ declaration. In addition, the County is following the Governor’s extension of his shelter in place order, which is scheduled to expire on April 30, 2020
