The National Weather Service in Peachtree City, GA has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for portions of the Metro-area to include Clayton County.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Thunderstorms are expected today as a cold front pushes through the area. A few strong to severe storms are possible. The primary hazard will be damaging winds, though hail and an isolated

tornado cannot be ruled out.

Any storms that form could produce hail or damaging winds. A brief tornado, while unlikely, is still possible.

Timing:

Most likely time frame for strong to severe storms.

NW GA: 2 PM – 8 PM
ATL metro 3 PM – 10 PM
Middle GA: 5 PM – 2 AM
