International Park Master Plan Reveal

(JONESBORO, GA) – The Master Plan detailing the renovation of Clayton County International Park is complete. The plan identifies renovations funded by the Special Purpose Local Option Tax (SPLOST). It is an essential step leading to construction.

The International Park renovation integrates outdoor spaces while maintaining a multi-functional facility. The total cost and construction schedule are being developed as a result of the completed Master Plan. Construction is anticipated to be completed by summer 2021. International Park improvements include:

 A Sky Walk Adventure Climbing

 Boardwalk

 Food Truck Area

 Nassau Building Renovation

 New Dog Park

 New Entrance

 New Water Park with Pools, Splash Pad. Lazy River, Wave Runner, Kiddie Pool, etc.

 Party Deck

 Pavilions and Cabanas overlooking the Water Park and new Water feature w/Fountains

 Playground with New Equipment

 Walking & Biking Trails
