NOTICE OF ZONING SIGN POSTING CHANGE
Starting with the June 2024 Zoning Public Hearings, applicants shall post the required number of Public Notification Sign(s) per the Zoning Calendar by May 8, 2024.
NOTICE OF FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT CHANGE
On March 19, 2024, The Board of Commissioner (BOC) approved Ordinance No. 2024-60: BOC-2402-0394 to amend Appendix A, Article 13, Section 13.3 – Zoning Amendment Process and Section 13.5 – Applications for Amendments. This BOC approval means that applications submitted to amend the Clayton County’s Future Land Use Map (FLUM) may no longer be submitted for consideration at any time within a calendar year. Now, the New Regulations require the submittal of FLUM applications to ONLY twice a year during the months of April and October. This new process will start with the BOC public hearing on October 15, 2024, at the regularly scheduled BOC public hearing per the 2024 Zoning Matters Calendar.
