In her current role as the Aging Program Administrator for Clayton County Senior Services, Jamie oversees the Meals on Wheels Program, medical transportation services, in-home care services, the Aging food pantry, and the Furniture Assistance Program. Before joining the County, Jamie’s career highlights include serving as the Senior Public Relations Coordinator at Southern Regional Medical Center where she served as the “face of Southern Regional.” Jamie spent several years at start-up cable network MBC/ Black Family Channel as their Publicist. After leaving active duty and prior to moving to the Atlanta area, Jamie’s career took her to the nation’s capital, where she worked as a Government Affairs Assistant and ran her own Public Relations firm that specialized in promoting exhibitions of local Urban Artist. Jamie later married and relocated to Bermuda and served as the Public Relations Director for a local gallery before being offered a position at the American Consulate as the Communications Officer for Consul General.

As a firm believer in service, Jamie serves on the State Board of Meals on Wheels Association of Georgia (MOWAG), she is also an active member of Meals on Wheels Association of America (MOWA), oversees the Aging/MOW Advisory Board, a member of Senior Services AFSV Committee and is a “Big Sister” in the Metro Atlanta Big Brothers/Sister’s Program.
