Bottled Water Distribution Continues Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
At CCWA Facility Off Flint River Road in Jonesboro

3:30 p.m.
Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) will continue distributing bottled water to residents on Saturday, December 31 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., or as long as supplies last, at one of its facilities off Flint River Road in Jonesboro.
Customers should enter at 8890 Roberts Road (off Flint River Road) and follow signs to the back entrance of CCWA’s W.B. Casey Water Resource Recovery Facility.
Enter At 8890 Roberts Road, Jonesboro 30238 (off Flint River Road)
One case will be provided per vehicle. CCWA is not requiring ID for pick up.

Shower facilities are available for use at Clayton County Recreation Centers. Below is a list of centers and hours of operation. Please check with the personnel at the front desk when you arrive. Burn Ban
Fire Marshal’s Office Issues Burn Ban
December 29, 2022
Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) reports abnormal system pressure in various areas of Clayton County. Therefore, to ensure life safety and to lessen the risk of additional property damage, the Clayton County Fire Marshal’s Office is issuing a temporary Outdoor Burning Ban. This ban will prohibit yard debris from burning regardless of the weather conditions that day.
This ban will stay in effect until the CCWA reports normal operations within the county.
Residents must call the Clayton County Burn Line at 770-473-3836 to see whether burning is allowed in the county. This information is updated by 9:00 a.m.
Persons violating this request shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $1,000.00 per violation.
