The Clayton County Board Of Commissioners (CCBOC) Office of Communications oversees county-wide communications, which includes CCTV 23/99 and Print Services.  We are committed to developing, and promoting open, honest, reliable, two-way communication that builds trust and confidence throughout the community and welcome the engagement of employee and citizen ambassadors.

We use strategic and effective communications planning to continuously build, support and maintain a positive brand, deliver accurate, timely, and relevant information using various communication channels. In addition, we encourage public engagement at meetings, events and activities to help employees and community members stay well informed and to provide meaningful input about improvements, issues, concerns, and ideas.

Mission

The mission of the Office of Communications and Print Services is proactive administration of communications in government (PACG) by providing: proactive, informative, accurate, and timely information to stakeholders on opportunities for engagement including, but not limited to improvements, Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST), activities, special events, community resources,  issues or concerns, graphic design and layout.

Vision

The Office of Communications and Print Services, in accordance with the mission, vision and strategic plan of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners, seeks to promote county news and achievements, using a variety of innovative formats and resources while developing opportunities to strengthen and enhance the image of the county with trust and an open line of communication for employees and citizens.

Information and Trust

The CCBOC respects the public and its interest in our vibrant and growing community. Guidelines for communications are designed to be responsive to requests for freedom of access while streamlining the internal and external communications process, ensuring the safety, rights, and respect of our employees and citizens.

The Communications Administrator serves as the central contact and spokesperson for media inquiries, crisis communications, and a resource for strategic counsel on communications plans for the county departments and municipalities.
