2019-9 - An Ordinance adopted under the Home Rule Powers specifically granted to the governing authority of Clayton County pursuant to Article IX, Section II, Paragraph I (B)(1) of the Constitution of the State of Georgia of 1983, amending the Local Act of the General Assembly creating and composing the Clayton County Board of Commissioners and setting forth the general provisions governing Clayton County Government; to change the provisions governing meeting times  to provide an effective date of this ordinance; and for other purposes.  WHEREAS, the Clayton County Board of Commissioners now desires to amend the Act to establish new meeting times, specifically Part I, Section 2 - 4 "Meetings," to remove conflicting language contained elsewhere within the Clayton County Code of Ordinances; to provide an effective date of this ordinance; and for other purposes. 

2019-10 A Resolution authorizing Clayton County to modify its method of receiving public comments during Board Meetings in an effort to create and maintain order during said meetings and work sessions.

2019-11 An Ordinance to amend the Code of Clayton County, Georgia, as amended, specifically Part I "Related Laws Pertaining to Clayton County", Chapter 2 "Administration", Article II "Board of Commissioners", Section 2-35-01 "Agenda"; to repeal conflicting laws, ordinances, and resolutions; to provide for severability; to provide for an effective date of this Ordinance; and for other purposes.

2019-44 A Resolution dissolving the Northwest Clayton Redevelopment Area and Tax Allocation District Number Four - Northwest Clayton; to remove the Tax Allocation District within the Redevelopment Area and the boundaries thereof; to revoke authorization to Clayton County, Georgia to act as the Redevelopment agent to implement any Redevelopment Plan pursuant to the Redevelopment Powers Law and the Urban Redevelopment Law.

2019-90  A Resolution authorizing Clayton County to accept Abandoned Property Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 17-5-54(a)(1) and Superior Court Order 2019CV02322-10 for official use by the Police Department; to authorize the Chairman, or the Chief of Police as his designee, to accept the property on behalf of Clayton County and to execute any documents necessary and otherwise perform all acts necessary to accomplish the intent of this resolution.

2019-91  A Resolution authorizing Clayton County to dispose of abandoned property in the manner required by law and pursuant to an order from Clayton County Superior Court; to authorize the sale of such property in a manner as will be in the best interest of the county; to provide for the disbursal of sale proceeds.

2019-92  A Resolution authorizing Clayton County to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Jonesboro providing for the terms and conditions under which the City of Jonesboro will be allowed use of county property for a garden.

2019-98 A Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Clayton County, Georgia to support the 911 Heroes Basketball Game hosted by Commissioner Sonna Gregory to be held on September 11, 2019 at the Carl Rhodenizer Recreation Center; to consent to proceeds collected by the county to be donated to an authorized Non-Profit Charity or Explorer's Program.
