This board hears appeals from property owners regarding their assessments and works with the Tax Assessor’s Office. The board conducts its meeting on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at: The Clayton County Board of Assessors Regular Scheduled Meeting will immediately follow the 9:00 a.m. Work Session. Meetings are open to the public. Changes in the scheduling of the meetings will be posted at least 24 hours in advance.

Notice pursuant to OCGA 50-14-1(d)(1): Notice is hereby given to the public of the scheduling of regular meetings of the Board of Directors of the Clayton County Land Bank. Such regular meetings shall occur on the third Thursday of the month at 5:30pm. To ensure the health and safety of Land Bank Board Members and the general public, such regular meetings shall be conducted via Zoom until further notice. The Land Bank Board reserves the right to cancel or postpone any regularly scheduled meeting, as circumstances warrant. All meetings are open to the public, except for those occasions involving matters that are specifically exempt by the Georgia Open Meetings Law.

The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet every Every Third Thursday at 7:00PM. Meetings are held in the Commissioners' Board Room Administration Building 112 Smith Street in Jonesboro, Georgia.
