WOCC to Host ArtWalk on Main St.
(Clayton County, GA)-The Women of Clayton County Foundation and the Women of Clayton County organization (WOCC) presents its inaugural ArtWalk on Main St. 2023 in downtown Jonesboro, GA! The FREE ArtWalk on Main St. event kick-off is Fri., May 19, 2023, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at B’Mari, 106-112 N McDonough St. Jonesboro, GA 30236.
“ArtWalk on Main St. is a free monthly event to showcase unique visual, performance, culinary, and immersive art experiences in Jonesboro’s historic arts and entertainment district,” said WOCC Foundation Vice President Donna Jackson.
Make plans for you, family, and friends to enjoy an exciting array of art displays and entertainment. ArtWalk on Main St. offers unique artistic displays, vendors, complimentary wine, champagne, grazing table, live music and more at 5 p.m. on May 19! Additionally, the ArtWalk on Main St. Sip & Sculpt Experience is $35 per ticket, which begins at 5:30 p.m.
“This a Clayton connected opportunity where there is something for everyone whether you’re interested in the arts or want to learn more about the arts, local businesses, and talented citizens,” said Clayton County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jeffrey E. Turner.
Saxophonist De Wayne Martin is also performing at the Historic Train Depot! Enjoy live music by violinist Connor Long at Fig Tree Cafe, 126 S Main St, Jonesboro, GA 30236 and guitarist Dean Coppolino at Arts Clayton Gallery, 136 South Main Street Jonesboro, GA 30236. An open mic experience will start at 6:30 pm at Arts Clayton Gallery. Enjoy the sidewalk art gallery and food truck options while strolling the sidewalks of Jonesboro.
