Mitch Johnson is a 27 (twenty-seven)-year resident of Clayton County. He has always believed in Clayton County and has been engaged throughout the community to make Clayton County a great place to work, live, and have fun.
Before settling down in Clayton County, Mitch served 25 years, as an officer and aviator in the U.S. Army. He has implemented successful programs that bring together community businesses, academia, and students.
A Regional Vice President, Mitch has his own financial services business. He provides a valuable service in the form of complimentary financial strategies that address today’s financial issues. His goal is to educate hard-working Main Street families – just like your employees and students – on simple concepts that can change their financial future forever.
Involved in the community, Mitch is the sponsor of the “Perfect Pitch” a competition held annually among the eleven Clayton County High Schools. The development of soft skills is important, as well as valuable. He is also the sponsor of the Georgia Acton Children’s Business Fair bringing children ages 6 – 14 together to exhibit their business and entrepreneurial skills. He currently serves as Executive Director, Foundation Board, Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS), and is a member of the Work Based Learning Advisory Committee, CCPS, and the Promotion’s Committee, City of Jonesboro, GA.
