                   Coyote Spotted Near Flint River Community Center

(Clayton County, GA)-A coyote was spotted on the Flint River Community Center trail over the weekend.  The Department of Natural Resources has been notified.  Additional safety measures have been implemented.  Caution signs have been installed along the trail to alert and warn walkers about the coyote sighting.  A trap has also been placed as an attempt to capture the wild animal.

Clayton County Animal Control  and the Department of Natural Resources recommend residents protect themselves and pets by:

  1. Staying a safe distance away from the wild animal.
  2. Removing any outdoor food and water sources.
