Clayton County Extends Condolences in the Loss of MARTA CEO
(Clayton County)-The Clayton County Board of Commissioners extends its deepest condolences in the loss of Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jeffrey A. Parker.
“Metro-Atlanta has truly lost one of its most influential leaders in transportation,” said Clayton County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jeffrey E. Turner. “MARTA CEO Jeffrey A. Parker was committed to making strides and improvements for transportation in Clayton County and surrounding communities. It is our hope that working together, we can ensure his leadership and efforts to help move the county’s transit goals forward willnot be in vain. The Parker and MARTA families are in our thoughts and prayers.”
