Board of Assessors Meeting

This board hears appeals from property owners regarding their assessments and works with the Tax Assessor’s Office. The board conducts its meeting on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at: The Clayton County Board of Assessors Regular Scheduled Meeting will immediately follow the 9:00 a.m. Work Session. Meetings are open to the public. Changes in the scheduling of the meetings will be posted at least 24 hours in advance.

Emergency Rental Assistance Event

Clayton County Board of Commissioners Office of Performance Management in partnership with Georgia Micro Enterprise Network (GMEN) will host an Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) in person event on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event is open to eligible Clayton County residents in need of assistance that have been impacted by COVID-19. Essential Home Repair Program Open Enrollment

The Community Development HUD Programs Division Open Enrollment for the Essential Home Repair Program for Clayton County residents who are over age 62, disabled or a veteran is August 24, 2022 (8 am) through August 25, 2022 (5 pm). The Clayton County Essential Home Repair Program is a HUD federally funded program, which provides limited financial assistance to make home repairs for qualifying homeowners.
