GABCO Honors Chief Staff Attorney Reed 
as 2024 County Attorney of the Year

 

(Clayton County, GA) – The Georgia Association of Black County Officials (GABCO) names Charles Reed, Clayton County Chief Staff Attorney, as the 2024 County Attorney of the Year. Reed was recognized on Sun., Dec. 8, 2024, at the 2024 GABCO Chairman’s Reception in Atlanta.

GABCO is a group of elected officials from all counties throughout Georgia. The members of the organization advocate to protect the general welfare of Georgians, people of color and underserved citizens of Georgia in matters of health and welfare, education, social and criminal justice, employment and economic empowerment.

“I consider it a great privilege and honor to be recognized as the County Attorney of the Year by GABCO,” said Clayton County Chief Staff Attorney Charles Reed. “I appreciate the confidence my peers and colleagues have in me as I am committed to serving the Board of Commissioners, elected officials, department heads, and employees while advocating for the County on behalf of our citizens and communities in Clayton County, where the world lands and opportunities take off.”
