Free Literacy Workshops for Residents

(Clayton County, GA)– Join the Clayton County Office of Digital Equity in partnership with Delta Community Credit Union for a free financial literacy training workshop on Wed., July 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Technology Services and Training Center, 9181 Poston Rd., Jonesboro, GA 30238. Clayton County residents will receive free financial literacy training and strategies to reduce expenses.

“Digital equity and financial equity go hand in hand,” said Takiyah Thomas, Digital Equity Administrator. “We are excited to partner with Georgia’s largest credit union to offer this valuable resource to help families reach their current and future financial goals.”

Space is limited and online registration is required. Citizens can register for this lunch-and-learn workshop at: https://tinyurl.com/Jul24FIN. Lunch will be provided! The workshop series continues through early 2025, with four additional workshops covering various financial topics.
