Commissioner Allen to Host Girls and Goals Vision Board Party
with Parks and Recreation and Youth Services
(Clayton County, GA)-Join District 3 Commissioner Tashe’ Allen, Clayton County Parks and Recreation, and the Clayton County Office of Youth Services for the Girls and Goals Vision Board Party on Sat., Dec. 21, 2024, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Jim Huie Recreation Center, 9045 Tara Blvd, GA. This event empowers young women ages 7-18 to create vision boards, set goals, build confidence, and stay motivated.
“I am excited to host this community event with a focus on personal, professional, and academic goals for girls,” said District 3 Commissioner Tashe’ Allen for the Clayton County Board of Commissioners. “We are working together to empower our girls to be confident, envision their future, and to set and accomplish their goals.”
You can help support the Girls & Goals Vision Board Party by donating magazines. The participants can use the magazines to create their vision boards. If you have gently used magazines at home, or would like to contribute, drop them off in the designated donation box located at the Jim Huie Recreation Center, 9045 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236 by Fri., Dec. 20, 2024.
