TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Temporary Road Closure Notice McDonough Rd Bridge at Flint River

 

 

Who: Georgia Department of Transportation

 

What: One lane road closure notice for Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractor to work on bridge design soil borings

 

Where: McDonough Rd Bridge at Flint River (Fayette County Line)

 

When: Mon., Sept. 28-Oct., 11, 2024 (Approximately 2 weeks: subject to change) 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Daily)

Comments:
Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists through the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to be accessible. Mail, package delivery, emergency service, and trash pick-up will continue. Motorists should plan accordingly, proceed with caution, and avoid the area to help prevent potential delays.
