River’s Edge Greenway Trail to Extend Community Pathways
(Clayton County, GA) – Plans are underway to extend the River’s Edge Greenway Trail by approximately two miles in Phase 3 and Phase 4. Once completed, the extensions will connect to the existing Phase 2 trail that runs from Plantation Pkwy crossing over Harbour Town Pkwy, which will continue to Harbour Lake Dr. cul-de-sac.
The Phase 3 extension will pick up at the Harbour Lake Dr. cul-de-sac and run parallel to Fairway Overlook. Phase 4 extension will wrap around the lake between Gleneagles Dr. and Gleneagles Way, ending at the club house on Plantation Pkwy.
Designed by Prime Engineering, the plans for Quality of Life: Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) project extension is out for solicitation and set to close April 30. Meanwhile, Phase 2 paving is nearing completion.
