Picture Your Park Community Engagement Campaign Pocket Park Sign Design

(Clayton County, GA) – The Clayton County Department of Parks and Recreation and Clayton County Office of Communications kick off the Picture Your Park Engagement Campaign. Residents and visitors to Clayton County parks are encouraged to participate by
accessing www.claytonparks.com/pictureyourpark. Select one of three sign design options. Tell us if you are a Clayton resident or non-resident and click submit.

“I look forward to working with the Clayton County Board of Commissioners, employees, residents, and visitors as we explore new ideas through inclusion for parks and recreation,” said the newly appointed Director of Parks and Recreation Nicole Horne. “We care about what the citizens of Clayton want. I invite them to be actively participate in parks and recreation in their communities.”

The four new pocket parks will be constructed in all four districts within the county. They are all a part of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners Quality of Life strategic plan goal. These pocket parks will help promote another option for self-care, health, and wellness.

“We are excited to tag team in this community engagement campaign with Parks and Recreation,” said Communications Administrator Valerie L. Fuller. “It offers an opportunity to gain direct feedback from residents and visitors. The data from the campaign will be shared with Director Horne and the Clayton County Board of Commissioners to assist in the decision-making for the sign design.”
