Lieutenant Colonel Reva Y. Robinson, USAR,
Retired Lieutenant Colonel Reva Robinson was born is Chattanooga, TN and raised in Atlanta, GA. LTC Robinson commissioned as Second Lieutenant through the ROTC Program upon graduating.
Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, GA where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She later graduated from Quartermaster Officer Basic Course at Ft. Lee, VA in 1991, and her first U.S. Army Reserve assignment was a Platoon Leader with the 1015th Maintenance Company in 1992, Ft Gillem, GA. Her follow-on assignments include the following: 3rdBattalion 345th Training Support Battalion also at Ft. Gillem, Army Reserve Element Disposition in Anniston, AL (HQ at Fort Belvoir, VA) until she retired in July 2018.
Awards and decorations: Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal/Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Arms Forces Reserve medal and Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
Education/Experience/Personal: Master of Education in School Counseling, Clark Atlanta University, Professional School Counselor in Clayton County, GA. 1998-2019. Senior Army JROTC Instructor, Atlanta Public Schools, 2019-present. She is married and resides in Jonesboro, GA. Her hobbies include listening to music, fitness, motorcycle riding, traveling, mentoring and teaching youth and working puzzles.
Organizations/Activities: Member of Veterans Helping Veterans, Inc., Wounded Warrior Project, member of The Atlanta Airport Area Church of Christ.
