Chairwoman Anderson-Henry Joins Atlanta Regional Commission

(Clayton County, GA) – The Clayton County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Dr. Alieka Anderson-Henry was sworn-in as the newest member of the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) on Wed., Jan. 8, 2025.

The 41-member board oversees the agency’s efforts to improve quality of life in metro Atlanta and plan for the region’s successful future. The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is the official planning agency for the 11-county Atlanta Region. The Atlanta Regional Commission’s mission is to foster thriving communities for all within the Atlanta region through collaborative, data-informed planning and investments.

“I look forward to working with my fellow members to build a future that reflects the resilience and potential of our diverse region,” said Chairwoman Dr. Alieka Anderson-Henry. “Working together with the ARC, we will focus on fostering collaboration, advancing innovative solutions, and ensuring that every community has the resources and support to thrive.
