Improve your food safety and sanitation skills through a nationally recognized food safety sanitation course: SERVSAFE®: Serving Safe Food.

This course is certified through the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association in Chicago, Illinois and includes: 

Course Book: 7th Edition ServSafe® Managers Book

Prepayment is required for registration. Payments accepted: Cash, Check, Credit Card, or Money Order.  Make payable to: Clayton County Extension.

Fees must be prepaid and course books will be provided prior to session date.  Available at: UGA-Clayton County Extension, 1262 Government Circle, Jonesboro, GA 30236. 770-473-3945.  Refreshments provided.  Lunch will not be provided.  MUST ATTEND BOTH DATES.  Retest & exam will be administered on the second day at 1:00 pm. 

Certification is valid for 5 years.  A minimum score of 75% is required to receive certification.  If certification is expired, you will need to retake the course with examination to be recertified.  If you need to re-test, you may take the exam twice within a 30 day period.  If a third attempt is required, the examinee must wait at least 60 days from the last attempt. 

  • $140.00 – Registration Fee (Includes course book & written exam)
  • $60.00 – Retest Fee for written exam.  Bring course book on exam date.
