4-H Youth Development
What is 4-H?
It is a premier youth development program. 4-H services kids in grades 4th – 12th grade.
4-H’ers participate in adventure trips, summer camps, 4-H days at UGA campus, judging teams, rallies, competitive events, special interest classes and events outside of school.
4-H is exploring, discovering, encouraging, challenging and of course having lots of fun.
Who is in it?
More than 170,000 Georgians are part of the six and a half million 4-H’ers in the United States. One out of every six Americans is a former 4-H’er.
Over 4,000 students in Clayton County, grades 4-12, are enrolled in 4-H clubs as part of the Clayton County School System.
