Zoom Hearing Instructions
You are required by law to be present for this hearing, by video conference or in person. Failure to appear will result in the issuance of a bench warrant for your arrest and may result in the forfeiture of your bond.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, all court appearances will be conducted through remote video conferencing that is open to the public. The State Court offers two options for appearance:
- OPTION #1 – ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCE
If you have access to the Zoom video conferencing program on a smart phone, computer or tablet, you may appear before the Court without physically traveling to the Justice Center.
The Court strongly encourages this method of appearance.
If you intend on using Zoom with a computer or tablet, you may access the video conference by visiting www.zoom.us on the date and time printed above. Select “join a meeting” and enter the Meeting ID and Passcode printed on the notice.
- OPTION #2 – PHYSICAL APPEARANCE AT THE JUSTICE CENTER
If you do not have access to Zoom, the Court will be conducting hearings from Courtroom 304 of the Justice Center. If you choose this option, you must be present in the courtroom on the date and time listed above. There, you will be instructed by deputies on how to join a video conference with the Court.
The Court notes that Masks are required inside the Justice Center.
Additionally, all parties are required to follow CDC social distancing guidelines and are strongly encouraged to report alone, if possible.
If you intend to appear in person, but are sick, have tested positive for COVID-19, you will not be permitted to enter the Justice Center. Please contact Judge Hayward’s office to make alternate scheduling arrangements:
