A person charges with a felony or felony probation in the Clayton Judicial circuit may submit and application to determine if he/she qualifies to receive attorney representation pursuant to Sec. 17-12-23(a).
In order to use the “Submit Form” option on the application, please download and “Save” the application before submitting.

Applications that have been approved for attorney representation are forwarded to the Indigent Defense Administration to be assigned an attorney on a rotational basis. Defendants should allow 1-2 business days for the determination of qualification and the appointment of an attorney. After that time, defendants should contact the Indigent Defense Administration at (678) 479-5340 to determine the status of their application and the name and phone number of their assigned attorney.
