Parenting Seminar

Attendance is required by all parties in actions of divorce, separate maintenance, paternity, modifications of custody or visitation, and legitimation where children under the age of 18 years are involved.

Attendance at other equivalent seminars in other states or counties may be allowed in satisfaction of this requirement at the discretion of the judge. Similarly, attendance at the Clayton County seminar may satisfy like requirements of other states and counties.

To fulfill the seminar requirement, parties must choose our online class. Currently, the provider of our onsite class, Families First, has not resumed in person/onsite parenting seminar classes at this time.

However, online parenting seminar courses will continue to be offered. 

Please call the ADR Office at 770-477-4575 to request the online parenting seminar information and indicate which course version, English or Spanish, is needed.
