Animal Control Board

Description

The board handles Dangerous Dog Hearings that come from Animal Control.  In addition, the board has the authority to study animal related issues, including but not limited to identifying ways to reduce animal overpopulation, encourage animal adoptions, improve public relations, and improved animal safety and comfort, and make recommendations to the board of commissioners regarding those issues.

Membership was reconstituted to five on March 12, 2013 with three year terms.
