JONESBORO – National #HIVTestingDay is June 27th! This year’s theme, “HIV Testing is Self-Care,” emphasizes the importance of taking an #HIV test to take care of you.
Clayton County Health District is commemorating this day by offering free rapid HIV Testing from Noon until 7 PM at the Walgreens located at 7935 Tara Boulevard, Jonesboro, GA 30236. Testing is open to anyone ages 13 years or older. Health educators will be on hand to provide resources and support to everyone who comes in for testing.
Everyone who tests will receive a prize or gift card. Free condoms will also be available.
HIV can affect anyone and now is the time to take the test and take care of yourself. Knowing your status is the first step to controlling the virus, preventing the spread of the infection to others, and living a healthier and longer life.
