In May 2021, Clayton County announced that they will receive $66M in COVID relief funding through the recently passed American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. This one-time money will be used to improve the quality of life for Clayton County residents and businesses, to provide for immediate recovery needs, and to create a long-term investment for the county’s future.
Clayton County is now seeking feedback from residents, businesses, and community organizations about their priorities for use of these funds. The funds received through the American Rescue Plan Act will be able to make a significant impact in the Clayton County Community. Input from residents is essential in the decision-making process on how these funds will be used. Through residents’ input on the survey, we hope that we can align allowable categories of the funds with the recommended priorities that our residents provided.
