Clayton County Alzheimer’s Services Center Hosts Grand Re-opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
(Clayton County, GA)- Clayton County Alzheimer’s Services Center is now open! The Alzheimer’s Services Center has been offering hybrid programs, food boxes, and telehealth since March 2020. Following a renovation through a collaboration with Clayton County Board of Commissioners and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, the re-opening allows full-service access to the center for clients.
Newly remodeled areas include:
New Floors
New Roof
Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) Unit
Updated Plumbing
“We are grateful for the citizens, employees, and other elected officials that made this grand re-opening possible,” said Clayton County District 4 Commissioner DeMont Davis. “This is a sometimes forgotten community, but this remodeled facility will aid in the success of servicing those dealing with the disease of Alzheimer’s/dementia and their caregivers.”
Clayton County Alzheimer’s Services Center (ASC) is located at 7251 Mt. Zion Circle in Morrow, Georgia. The mission of ASC is to enhance and prolong the highest quality of life for person’s with Alzheimer’s Disease and other related disorders and for their families. ASC offers a continuum of care services to families in the southern crescent that is affordable and of sound quality.
