Network Infrastructure and Operations

Technical ServicesThe Network Infrastructure and Operations Division of the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) believes that technological innovation and improvements are fundamental to helping the Clayton County Board of Commissioners and its employees to better serve the citizens of Clayton County. We work diligently to anticipate the technological needs of the county offices and provide leadership to assist in creating innovative and cost-effective solutions.

By providing centralized direct support of all communications, telecommunications, personal computers and network engineering and administration responsibilities, the Network Infrastructure and Operations division frees county departments to better serve the public.

Our Mission

Network Infrastructure and Operations exists, as a division of DoIT, to enable DoIT in its overall mission by providing and managing the county’s information technology infrastructure and services. We accomplish this by:

• Identifying and incorporating solutions to aid county departments through the use of cutting-edge and emerging technologies,

• Striving to advance the capabilities of our existing DoIT infrastructure and services while providing cost-effective solutions,

• Providing maintenance, support, and training to Clayton County employees for a wide range of county assets with an emphasis on a high level of accuracy, security, availability, and reliability. These assets include, but are not limited to:

  • Network Devices
  • Servers / Computers
  • Printers / Fax / Copiers
  • Office and Cellular communications devices
  • Video surveillance and Access Control
  • Audio Visual Devices
