The Clayton County Department of Economic Development serves as
staff for the Board of Commissioners, the Development Authority,
the Redevelopment Authority and the Urban Redevelopment Agency.
They are charged with attracting and maintaining jobs and
investment in the community. In order to do this, we collaborate
with organizations and municipalities to leverage assets and
resources.
