Judge Betrice Donald Scott is an Associate Magistrate Judge in Clayton County where she has served since 2010. She previously worked as an Assistant Solicitor in Clayton County and as Deputy General Counsel at a metropolitan school district.
Judge Scott is a graduate of Emory University School of Law. She has a Master of Science and Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Spelman College.
Judge Scott is a graduate of Leadership Clayton. She is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has served as the Secretary and Vice-President of Technology for the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys. She also teaches college courses in mathematics and law. Judge Scott loves sports and coaches AAU and recreational basketball and soccer.
Judge Scott is married to an amazing man, Bishop Don H. Scott, and they have a beautiful seven (7) year old daughter, Erianna.
