Clayton County Youth Development and Justice Center

Slated to open in the summer of 2012, the Clayton County Youth Development and Justice Center demonstrates Clayton County's commitment to restoration and preservation of healthy children and families. The approximately 60,000 square foot YDJC will house the operations of the Juvenile Court of Clayton County and will provide space for many of its collaborative partners. The building was designed with the Juvenile Court's mission in mind and will have space dedicated to the reform-minded endeavors of the court, including the FAST Panel, the System of Care, ADR, and a Resource Center for the provision of education and treatment programming. The project was funded by a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax.
