Court Interpreter Scheduling Program

The objective of the Court Interpreters Program is to ensure equal access to the courts for all Clayton County citizens regardless of their ability to communicate effectively in spoken English language.

Clayton County has developed an on-line Court Interpreters Scheduling program which allows court participants to schedule court interpreters prior to their court appearance. On-line registration is required to access this on-line scheduling program.

On-line requests for Spanish interpreters must be made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled court appearance while on-line requests for languages other than Spanish require 48 hours prior notice. If scheduling is needed outside of these time limits, individuals may e-mail request to Deidre Kemp, Principal Secretary at deidre.kemp@co.clayton.ga.us or contact Clayton County Court Administration at (770) 477-3414 to schedule an interpreter.
